FERROUS MANAGEMENT CORPORATION

Mining for metal
from the infrastructure around us
Originally metals are created from an ore, which was mined from deep underground. Rather than digging, we collect scrap metal from our network of customers and turn it into raw materials steel mills and foundries can use in making new metal products. According to the institute of scrap recycling industries, making new steel from recycled ferrous metal uses 60% less energy as opposed to virgin materials.
What classifies as scrap metal?
Everything that is made out of metal is scrap at the end of its life. This includes many everyday objects from old appliances, patio furniture, lawn care tools, and vehicles, to large machinery, beams, pipes, and more. By recycling your metal at our facility you start its journey to new life.
